Greenways
Toolbox
Pennsylvania is vigorously developing a statewide greenway system. This Toolbox page references a variety of greenways-related state and local programs, studies, guidebooks, and presentations developed by many different government and non-profit organizations in Pennsylvania. A special focus of the toolbox is to highlight resources for counties that are planning for greenways—and creating the framework for an interconnected network across the Commonwealth.
An especially valuable Toolbox resource available on-line is Creating Connections: The Pennsylvania Greenways and Trails How-To Manual that describes the process for creating, acquiring, constructing, and managing Pennsylvania Greenways.
